June 14th 2PM: Crossing Streams: GStreamer as a Media Swiss Army Knife
with Brendan Howell
A practical introduction to the free software GStreamer multimedia
framework, a highly pluggable cross-platform media architecture
allowing for the ready construction of audio and video
pipelines. Using either CLI or simple Python scripts diverse formats
and codecs can be converted or combined, with additional effects
applied. The xxxxx-HID will also be used to provide control of live
audio and video mixing, and effects.
